I’ve actually used this palette before for a few looks but up until yesterday I’d never recorded a tutorial using it. I wrote about it a while back right before it’s release date. I don’t have a catchy name for this pink, brown and dark purple blend but I really enjoyed creating it. I love the way it came together.
This palette is the 3rd of The Balm Cosmetics series of Nude palettes. I also have the first palette of this set called “Nude Tude.” The palettes retail for $36 on their website and are also available at Kohl’s if you prefer in store purchases. These palettes are easy to use and blend well.
The pigmentation in these palettes are good. I recommend this palette to anyone wanting burned pinks, bronzed colors, browns that scream fall and colors that compare to Urban Decay’s Heat Palette. The trio of this set of nude palettes is great for the working women looking for quality eyeshadows that can be worn alone or together. My favorite color in this palette is “Brainiac.”
I love the fact that this company has a sense of humor. Their individual product and color names are very colorful. This palette comes with twelve colors that start with the letter “B”. Here is a list of them.
- Brilliant
- Buff
- Brainiac
- Built
- Bodacious
- Bootylicious
- Babe
- Bright
- Brave
- Bold
- Breathtaking
- Brazen
On my previous post it was sold out but of course it is back in stock now. Stop by your local Kohl’s to check it out in person. Kohl’s usually has a type of $10 coupon you can use in stores and online. That will bring the palette down to $26.
