Pinky Rose’s Bright Lights Palette!

Ok! I was ecstatic about this purchase. Out of all of the Pinky Rose Palettes available this is one that stood out to me and blew my mind.  I purchased it in person at The MUA Project here in Houston.  The store carries quite a few items from Pinky Rose Cosmetics but I couldn’t help my attraction to their Bright Lights palette.

This palette retails for $24.99 and is worth every penny!  Honestly,  I find it quite difficult to find quality neon and bright colored pigments in an eyeshadow palette.  They’re usually chalky and take quite a bit of effort to blend together.  Some of them have to be paired with a white or light colored shadow base to show through but this one was very easy to blend without either.

I used 6 colors and a pressed glitter to create the look below.  I used Urban Decay’s Primer Potion as a base for the look and had no problem building the colors to what I wanted it to look like.  The colors transitioned smoothly and didn’t get stuck in one spot.  At no point did I have to force the pigments move but I did notice that the colors work better with a synthetic haired blending brush.

The pressed glitters in this palette work very well on their own.  I did apply glitter glue on the left eye to see how much fall out I would have within 30 minutes.  Surprisingly, I didn’t have very much at all.  There was a little bit of movement with the glitters but not to the extent where I had to reapply or fix anything.  I do suggest using glitter glue anyway just to ensure that it stays put if you’ll be wearing the look for hours after appling.

As of today, the Bright Lights palette is still sold out on their website so subscribe to their email list to get an update for the restock.  I will be putting one of these palettes in my very next giveaway by the way!  I also plan on purchasing more of their palettes to try really soon. Stay tuned!!!
