Urban Decay BEACHED Review

Urban Decay is one of my very favorite brands of makeup on the planet!  This summer, they gave us surfer vibes with the add on’s to the Beached Collection.  Last Summer 2017 I bought their Beached Bronzer and needless to say, I couldn’t wait to see the Beached Palette, lipsticks and pencils.  They were exactly what I expected them to be.

Many Urban Decay Fans were buzzing about this release. I myself got lucky enough to be able to catch the last one on display at Ulta Beauty.  I expected marine blues, greens and some sandies.  The also gave us sun down reddish browns.

The palette retails for $34. The pigment is very blendable but not too thin.  What I liked most is that the colors can be worn alone and many simple looks can be done with it.  I know we always want to minimize or makeup but this palette can versatile because of the blues.  I have created two BEACH inspired looks so far. Take a look below.

Of course I was wearing Urban Decay’s All Nighter Foundation, Beached Bronzer, Primer Potion and All Nighter Setting Spray in both pics.  I also bought a  lipstick from the collection called Beached Vice- Tower 1 for $18. It is a sparkling glitter lipstick that reflects pink and gold depending on the lighting.  There are also two other shades, Heatwave & 100 Degrees that were unavailable when I made my purchase.

This collection is going to definitely be my go to for summer in a quick face situation.  There is a limited yet bold possibility when creating a look with this collection.  I love how versatile it can be.  You can do regular glam or bold glam and that is how makeup should be. Do I think it’s worth the money?  Yes if  you do not already have these particular colors.
