I still haven’t gotten over the fact that I won seven Highliners as a prize from Marc Jacobs Beauty via Facebook. This is a brand that I have followed since I was a teen. I have purchased many fragrances and bags from the sister Marc Jacobs fashion line. To top it off, a friend of mine won lipsticks as well shortly after that.
I was sent seven different colors from the Highliner collection ($25 each) in both matte and shimmer finishes. Since I previously owned three others, I already knew that they were waterproof and long lasting eyeliner crayons. I also love the fact that they come with a built in sharpener on the end that doesn’t require a blade because they are gel eyeliners. This makes it super easy to glide on.
When I won, Marc Jacobs Beauty was celebrating Pride month and running their #GratefulnotHateful ads. It was so intriguing to me because of the of way it was represented with so much elegance and of course, pride! The hashtag that they decided to use alone says a lot about the brand and how celebrating one another has a positive impact no matter how different we are as human beings. The colors included say it all.

I have had so much fun adding pops of color to my waterline, top lash line and tear duct area. I wrote about these liners previously and I have to say again that these are some of the smoothest colored liners I have had the pleasure of using. They stay in place for hours and I have never been let down while wearing them. Here are a few looks that I have done since receiving them.
My makeup buddy and professional MUA, Tara won five Le Marc Lip Creme Lipsticks from MJB and loved them as well. They are $30 a piece on the Marc Jacobs Beauty website, at Sephora and anywhere MJB is sold as well. We both wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Marc Jacobs Beauty and their team for allowing us this experience with the brand and great products. We will never forget these moments in out beauty journey. Here’s what FacebyTara said about the Lip Creme’s…
They are super moisturizing but light weight. They last roughly 4-6 hours and only had to touch up after eating. The lipsticks are very creamy and it doesn’t take a lot to get the coverage you want on lips. They spread easily. -FacebyTara
