Definitely a HIT for me! Most “drugstore” brands don’t make palettes like this Lemonade Craze palette from Maybelline. I really enjoyed how blend-able the shades are. Compared to other brands on the market that have put out some of these same colors, I have to give it a 9 out of 10. The pigments are true to Maybelline’s image. Soft, colorful, elegant yet not overwhelming.
I have to admit that I was expecting the yellow shade itself to pop more. There’s a point where it seems to stop as far as vibrancy goes no matter how much you pack it on. I did use a white base primer before I put it on in this look above but it didn’t show up as well compared to the way it looks in the palette. I think that would be my only down point for this palette.
Being that the yellow shade is the center point of the palette, “Lemonade Craze,” I wanted it to pop effortlessly. This is my first time using it and I plan on trying it again with a different primer to see if it has a different effect. The rest of the shades are completely fine with me. The shimmer shades are a little creamy which makes it easy to spread and the mattes seem to have a normal amount of fallout. Nothing uncommon.

I see myself having plenty of product to work with and being able to do several looks with this palette. The shade “Citrus” is going to be my absolute favorite. (Bottom left rectangular shade) It’s a beautiful golden yellow shimmer/soft glittery shade with a pinkish red hue to it. I also really like Sweet Tea, Coral Punch and Ice Pop. This is a very fun palette to have on hand.
The Lemonade Craze Palette is $10.99 on Maybelline’s website and in store where Maybelline is sold. I recommend it to the beauty lover that loves subtle pops of color for an everyday look or just on occasions where they want something a little extra on their eyes. Here are all of the Maybelline products that were used to create this fun makeup look.

Also be on the look out for Maybelline’s upcoming release of Lemonade Craze’s sister palette, Soda Pop! It is scheduled to drop this fall according to the company. Here’s what it looks like.
