Neutrogena HydroBoost added some things!

I was selected for the “Work it Like an Icon” Neutrogena Campaign and to my surprise something new was in the Hydro Boost line up.  If you have read my blogs or followed me on social media for a while then you know that I love Neutrogena Hydro Boost! There was a new Hydro Boost Sunscreen with SPF 50.  It was perfect timing as well because I was unsatisfied with previous trials with sunscreens.

The most irritating element of wearing sunscreen for me is the white residue left behind.  The other effect is dryness. To my experience, some sunscreen lotions make my skin feel really dry.  That resulted to my choice in using spray options instead. I am also used to only using SPF 30 so having an experience with a SPF 50 made a difference.

I think this Neutrogena release slipped passed me.  I usually keep up with my favorite brands really well but I had no clue this was out.  After trying it I feel like it is what I was looking for.  There’s no weird white glow and because it’s a water gel it sinks right into the skin with no problem.  It has really good moisturizing elements and feels really similar to Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Gel Cream for Dry Skin.

Something else that I had not tried yet from the Hydro Boost line was the ($8.99) Hydro Boost  Plumping Mascara.  I was only aware of the Healthy Volume version of Neutrogena’s mascara.  I really loved the Healthy Volume version because of the formula and the lift it gives. The formula is geared toward growth while the Hydro Boost version is geared toward a hydration and making the lashes look fuller.  Still a health benefit and they still look naturally beautiful.

The Hydro Boost Gentle Cleansing Lotion ($8.99) is a must have item for me for removing makeup.  It breaks through Kat Von D’s full coverage foundation.  If you use this foundation then you know that’s impressive. Not many makeup remover options remove it without having to continuously rub in the same spot until it comes off. Not to be mistaken for the gel version, this one is simply a remover not a wash.

Last but definitely not least,  the precious ($2.99) Hydro Boost Overnight Gel Mask! I usually pick a couple up to use during the week.  Honestly, purchasing two of these little pods last me two weeks.  It’s impossible to use an entire pod on one application.  At the most I use a quarter sized amount after washing and exfoliating before bed two to three nights a week.  I rinse in the morning and go about my way with soft skin all day.

Neutrogena continues to be one of my Top 5 Skincare brands.  However, seeing is believing.  Pick these products up wherever Neutrogena is sold.  You can also order them directly from Neutrogena.com.
