I don’t think I’m the only one that welcomes the Fall season with big open arms. I love this time of year because of the colors, the fashion, the food and of course the holidays. I love when makeup artists whip out those beloved warm colors. One of this seasons most Fall-ish makeup releases so far is Morphe’s 35M Boss Mood palette.
Retailing at $24, the 35M gives you 35 blendable shades and plenty of potential. There are sixteen Metallic shades, 18 Matte shades and one single shade that I believe to be a highlight color called Light of the Party. This one shade is described as a frosted cream shimmer and you can definitely tell the difference between the finishes. The palette is much prettier in person compared to how it appears on ads. I was skeptical at first but then I went to Ulta Beauty and saw how pretty it was for myself.
There are greens, deep golds and bronzes, rich berry colors, oranges and dark plums. Of course this palette wouldn’t be complete without a matte black. Originally, I thought the metallic shades were high shimmer shades but they’re not. They seem to have a foil like finish. All of the metallic’s have a sprinkle of micro fine glitter and some have glitter in a few colors.
I have quite a few Morphe palettes now but I have to say that this one is one of my favorite’s so far. My concern at first glance was how I was going to make these particular colors mesh without the look becoming a mess. I had to swatch color combo’s on my arm to make it make more sense. Looking at the palette, I saw endless possibilities with using other palettes along with the 35M. I just had to figure out my rhythm if I was going to use this palette only.
During this season, I draw inspiration from nature and the fashion industry. The pictures above are examples of what I see for Fall color combinations. I have created a few looks so far using the Boss Mood palette. Take a peek at them below and stay tuned for my upcoming FALL GIVEAWAY which will include this Morphe 35M palette.
