Sultry Looks for Winter

For this Fall and Winter season, I picked up quite a few new beauty products to use this winter season.  Some I already use and some that were new releases.  During the winter I tone down my makeup looks. I can finally tap into those beautiful basic but cool toned looks.

Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Sultry Palette and Holiday Lip Gloss Set

I am a big fan of ABH so when they released this palette I knew that I had to check it out. Honesty, I was skeptical about how well this palette would do because Soft Glam was released a months earlier.  I saw it online a few times but nothing beats seeing it in person.  The packaging is something I would love to have seen come on the Soft Glam palette.

These are essential colors that every artist, ABH lover and makeup enthusiast needs.  One of the biggest qualities that stand out to me about this palette is how blendable the pigments are.  I love Pro palettes and this is one of the reasons I don’t mind buying their palettes and singles.

I did post a video tutorial of the look that I created above.  It is on my YouTube Channel and also linked in the left panel of this blog.  Here is another look that I love  that I created using this palette.  One of my favorite colors is gray and I can’t get enough of Sultry.

Milani Soft and Sultry Palette

For those that are unfamiliar with the Milani brand, it’s considered a “Drug-Store” brand but I like to call it an affordable brand.  I have several of their palettes and love how direct the palettes are.  They are designed to give you exactly what you bought it for.  The pigments have great quality and every palette and eye product that I have gotten from this brand allows you to create a great day/night look.

This palette as well as the rest of them are available at Milani Cosmetics online.  The Soft and Sultry Palette is $19.99 online and I got mine for $14.97 at Walmart.  Look out for the holiday packages including one palette and an eyeshadow primer for the same great price of $14.97 at Walmart as well in the Holiday Gifts section.

Please be sure to check out all the looks that I created and posted on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.  All of the links on the left panel with the makeup tutorial for the look above. Talk to you next time!
