This is my favorite time of year to rock all those Fall colors and sultry looks that I’ve been waiting to blast all year. I look forward to seeing the Fall and Winter releases from certain brands, especially Too Faced Cosmetics. Not only do they have amazing products, they also have the cutest ideas for their line and some of the prettiest packaging I’ve seen. For the last two years I’ve been obsessed with the Gingerbread and holiday releases.

This year, Too Faced released even more Gingerbread and super cute Xmas themed products. This time we got a continuation of the original Gingerbread Spice palette. I think this was the cutest idea being that the Gingerbread Girl Melted Matte liquid lipstick was released last year as a continuation of the original Gingerbread Man lippie. This year we got the original Gingerbread Man shade in matte lipstick form.

The original Gingerbread Man shade is a unique (to the TF brand) burnt orange shade while the Gingerbread Girl is more of a brick red. Both shades smell amazing as expected and are perfect for this seasons releases from them. I think they are both wearable on any skin tone but it all depends on which of the two you prefer to rock. I can’t wait to try them with this years release of the Gingerbread Extra Spicy palette.
Last year, I picked up the original Gingerbread Spice Palette so I was able to compare it to Extra Spicy once I got it from Ulta Beauty. I was able to use some of my points to get a good discount on the $49 eyeshadow palette. I had already watched a few Youtube reviews to help me decide on whether or not I wanted both of them. I wanted to share my own thoughts on both of these palettes.

If the Extra Spicy would have been released at the same time, I probably would’ve gotten it first because I’m a big fan of cool colors. Both are beautiful neutral toned eyeyshadow palettes but there are obvious differences and similarities. Here’s what I found:
How they’re alike:
- Pinks, Browns and Golds
- Great quality shimmers with a little sparkle.
- Both have a unique “POP” shade
- Both have a burnt orange shade.
- Both smell like Gingerbread
How they’re different:
- The Extra Spicy doesn’t have hot pink shades, deep purples or greens
- Extra Spicy has more cool shades than Gingerbread Spice
- Extra Spicy only has one cream colored shade instead of white.
- Extras Spicy has a unique dark shade with blue and green bits of glitter in it.

I was also able to grab the Gingerbread Lane palettes ($35) along with the Bronzed & Kissed ($39) Duo. The bronzer has never been released before and it’s adorable. I almost don’t want to use it just leave it for decoration. I cannot wait to run my holiday looks on Youtube so you girls and guys stay tuned!
Your pictures make the palettes look way better than even the Too Faced site . I didn’t realize how bright the original Gingerbread palette looks . I’m liking the bright pinks and purples of the Original . But Extra Spicy looks pretty too .

I love the hot pinks in the original myself. There’s a bomb duo chrome pink in there too. I like them both for different reasons.
