Maybelline Fans are we not loving the new shades?
When I first seen the new Maybelline SuperStay Coffee Edition Lippies on Trendmood’s page I went nuts! These shades were so pretty. I love when brands do specialty themes. Maybelline has already done the Soda Pop and Lemonade Craze palettes which I’ve already reviewed. These particular lippies smell like coffee and I’m all for that! Being the Coffee and Lipstick lover that I am, they were definitely getting snatched off the shelf.

My thoughts on SuperStay 24hr
The SuperStay 24hr Color formula is amazing! The staying power is phenomenal and they have the color payoff to match. It’s a two step process to apply them. First, the actual lip color and second, the moisturizer. The moisturizer immediately turns the color into a shining lip shade. As the day goes on you the moisturizer will fade but the color will not. It will just appear to look more matte but you can always apply more moisturizer when you like. This formula is here to stay and will NOT let you down if you hate reapplying lipstick throughout the day.
Thoughts on SuperStay Matte Ink
Matte Ink is a Maybelline fan fav! It’s another great liquid lipstick with staying power for up to 16hrs that has great pigmentation. I had already bought a few of these lippies before so I knew what to expect when I got Espresso Enthusiast. This color is the darkest shade in this Coffee collection and as you can see it’s a very rich brown. I think this may be my favorite Matte Ink shade so far. These are really comfortable to wear.
Bonus Lippy: Maybelline’s Lifter Gloss
I was actually looking for the Coffee Edition lipsticks when I came across this new gloss. So I know you’re wondering if this is a lip plumper, right? Not exactly. It does make your lips feel a little more plump but it doesn’t have that intense tingle. almost burning feeling, like most enhancing lip formulas. It’s moisturizing and makes your lips look smooth, hydrated and a little more full. It has Hyaluronic Acid in it which is always a plus. Maybelline‘s Lifter Gloss is available at Target and online for $6.99. It comes in ten everyday wearable shades.
